Johanna had her first trip to Wee Readers at the library today. She liked some of it and got fussy sometimes. She liked looking at the book before starting. She mostly liked the song when she got to play the maraca. Four of her daycare friends got to go too. Cole, Kaya, and Addyson are in the pictures but Nathaniel got cut off.

Oh, how fun! I take Josiah to the library once a week for toddler group and reading time. He gets fussy, too and I guess that's very typical for his (and Johanna's) age. That's ok--they'll outgrow it and learn to LOVE books! :)
Gail,
I ran across your blog a few months ago and have enjoyed watching your journey to bring home your sweet Johanna. Congratulations on becoming a mommy!! I've traveled to Guatemala twice on mission trips and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the kids. They are just precious. The Lord will truly bless you for listening to his call and adopting.
In Christ,
Molly
Sounds like fun. I would love to take Dmitrii to something like that but there is NO way he would sit still long enough. This boy never sits for more than a minute!
That looks like fun. We tried the story time once. Maya loves books.
She is just so darn precious. Hope your having fun with her. Courtney
She's so sweet. I wish I could see her every day! Or at least once a week. I'm sure Samuel misses her and would tell you if he could use the computer or, well, talk.
She is already such a big girl! What a smart little thing, too!
What fun... I wish we had something like that at our library.. what a great way to spend a day
