Mom and I got our fingerprints done this morning in Wichita. It was so easy. It took about 30 minutes. The lady who did them was so nice. She asked what country I was adopting from and whether I was gettging a boy or girl. As I walked out the door, she wished me good luck. I hope I get my I-171H soon. I can get my referral when I have it. Then I will feel like it is soooooooo real.

I got my I-171H in the mail three days after fingerprinting. I hope yours is just as quick!
Congratulations on the fingerprints..that's half the battle. I bet that I-171H will show up in your mailbox any day now. Looking forward to hearing about your referral!
I won't even be home in three days. It would be great to get home Saturday and find it there.

I was hoping to meet you while you were in town. I am sorry I missed you. I actually went back to work yesterday so I was stuck in the office all day. Blah! Maybe we will get the chance to meet another time.
Congrats on getting the fingerprints done! That really is a very big step in the process. Can't wait to read that you got the I-171H.
I remember screaming and running in the house after I saw our envelope in the mailbox! It is such a big step...because just like you, we couldn't get a referral until we had that I-171H in hand. Hoping you get it quick!
It wasn't here today, but its only Wednesday, I'll check again tomorrow
