Getting Down and Dirty
Johanna loves to go outside when the daycare kids do. Usually I put her in a walker or swing. Sometimes I let her sit in the grass in front of me. Today I got more adventurous and let her crawl across the yard and to the sand. She liked it a lot, especially letting the sand run through her fingers. The hard part was keeping things out of her mouth.

I am catching up some and just had to say.. I love that roller coaster thingy.. I am searching ebay now... You know I run a daycare also. and our state has such strict rules on outside things.. DO you have them as well?

We're six months ahead of you and Cara is STILL into "taste testing" practically everything she encounters! Latest favorites include beach sand and pool water. Yuck. Johanna is such a cutie! I can't believe she's almost ONE!
Hey - could you do a post about your favorite outdoor toddler toys?? We are sadly lacking in that area due to heat and mosquitoes but hoping cooler days are coming someday so we can get out in our yard more.
