FFF - Favorite Foto Friday - I'M BACK!!!!

I have been more than terrible about keeping my blog. I have family that visit and I need to keep it updated better so they can see how much Johanna is growning. So . . I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Friday so it is time for a favorite foto.

Last week Johanna was spinning around in the living room when she lost her balance. She fell into the corner of the tv table hitting the corner outside her eye. By the time she got up from her nap she had a nice shiner.
Sunday I dressed her in an adorable Christmas outfit for church and took her outside to get a pictre. Below is what I got!

FFF - Help Me!!!

There is no theme for Favorite Foto Friday's for the month of June. We get to choose our own to go with our Favorite Foto of the week. I think you will understand my title once you see the pictures below, especially the second one.

FFF - Favorite Foto of the Week

This week's Favorite Foto Friday theme is to pick the favorite of the week. That wasn't difficult for me. My favorite was taken last Sunday before going to church. Johanna even cooperated and smiled.

FFF - Bloopers

It's been awhile since I have posted a Favorite Foto Friday. This week Sarah chose the theme bloopers. I don't know if the picture below is actually a "blooper" but it is one I find amusing. I titled it, "Johanna has a ways to go before she grows into Mommy's shoes or other items."

FFF - Unique

About 15 years ago my former pastor and his wife went to Israel. I stayed with their two children. They brought me back this necklace with the Star of David and Cross. I wore it always, almost never taking it off. That was - until going to Guatemala to get Johanna. She would not leave it alone and I was afraid it would get broken. I took it off - and lost it. That was a year ago this week.

This morning Mom was dusting out her curio cabinet and guess what she found??? My necklace!!! It's back on now and hopefully I can teach Johanna to leave it alone.

FFF - February Favorite

This week's Favorite Foto Friday theme is "February Favorite." We have a little boy in our daycare who is a month older than Johanna. We have had him since he was six weeks old so he was here when Johanna came home. Jordan and Johanna are great buddies.

FFF - Silly

This week's Favorite Foto Friday theme is SILLY. Johanna is pretty silly sometimes but I don't get many pictures of those moments. Below are two pictures of her with some new clothes on. She is suppose to be posing for Mommy and showing off her new clothes. Instead I got SILLY.

This weeks Favorite Foto Friday theme is "Cold." I already put on pictures of Johanna's first snow so today I will put on pictures of another cold day activity.

FFF - Santa Baby

This week's Favorite Foto Friday theme is anything I like. I chose pictures I took of Johanna Sunday before church. I tried to get pictures of her sitting in front of the fireplace. Either I or my camera are too slow.

FFF - For Crying Out Loud

This weeks Favorite Foto Friday theme is "Crying Out Loud." I don't have many pictures of Johanna crying but not because she doesn't do her share. Be sure to look at yesterday's post, if you haven't already, to see the much happier Johanna.



Now, this is really "crying out loud." Grandma and Mommy were trying to get Johanna to show her latest feat, climbing onto the couch. Johanna wanted no part of it and let us know.

This weeks Favorite Foto Friday theme is Favorite Family Foto. I don't have very many of Johanna and I together but below are two of my favorites. These pictures are from my pick-up trip. I am giving Johanna a bottle for the first time. I love looking back at these pictures. She was so little and cuddley. I can't believe how much she has grown!!!

This weeks Favorite Foto Friday theme is Friends. Johanna is so blessed to have 8-10 friends come over every week day. Below are two pictures taken this week of Johanna with some of her friends.

My FFF photo is the one I posted in the previous post. Wednesday afternoon I walked down the hall to get Johanna out of the guest room where she shouldn't be. I found her trying to stand up. This is as high as she got several time.

She has since taken a few steps but nothing serious yet. I'm not sure if I am ready for her walking yet or not.

FFF- Friends with Stuffing

This week's Favorite Foto Friday theme is "Friends with Stuffing." I just put Johanna down for her morning nap and was able to get a picture of her with her three favorites. The Gymboree kitty I sent to her in Guatemala. Her foster mom said she slept with it every night so I have kept it in her bed. (This isn't her normal bed.) The lamb sings "Jesus loves me" and I got it for her while waiting. Her very favorite is the musical light up Glow-worm. She got it as a shower gift.

FFF - Having a Ball

I don't have any pictures of Johanna with any balls yet so I am putting up pictures of Johanna "Having a Ball" at the county fair.

The pigs were safely behind the fence, safe for Johanna, that is.


The goat decided to show Johanna what he could do.


This horse suddenly stuck his nose way out through the fence and sent Johanna into hysterics. It was pretty sad.

FFF - Crazy Hair

For today's Favorite Foto Friday Johanna is going to show all those with crazy hair how to tame it.

While taking this video I realized the water was going a little deep. I scooted Johanna back and turned the water off. Johanna didn't like that at all and proceeded to throw a fit, pitching herself forward. She forgot she was in the tub. I quickly pulled her face up out of the water. I wish I had gotten a picture of the startled look on her face. The next day when she threw her fit, she stayed vertical. Guess she is a quick learner.

This weeks "Favorite Foto Friday" theme is "Red, White and Blue." This picture is of Johanna waiting to go to our church's annual "Hoe Down" the Sunday before 4th of July.
